Description: This tour begins with a drive in our private car to a picturesque, uncrowded rural area where small farms and country stores give way to abundant greenery. There you'll enjoy a hike in one of Japan's most famous forests, the Aokigahara "Sea of Trees".

Journey deep into lush woodlands where ancient lava beds are blanketed with emerald moss and pocketed with countless caves. Weave through dense groves of cypress and birch. Pass a nature preserve where wildflowers border the trail and colorful songbirds flit between branches.
After the hike, you'll bike around a scenic lake on quiet country roads with excellent views of Mt Fuji. One of our stops along the way is a beach where the iconic mountain is often mirrored on the lake's surface, creating a spectacular "double Fuji" image.
The lakeshore is an excellent location for viewing cherry and plum trees covered with bright red and pink blossoms in Spring. It's also bordered by maples whose leaves turn yellow and red in Fall, making for spectacular scenery.
This tour is an outstanding choice for those who want to get away from urban areas to Japan's countryside and nature. Both the hike and the bike ride take place on mostly-flat routes, making this our easiest bike and hike tour.
