Description: In this half-day tour by private car, our guides transport you to Katsunuma, a town in the picturesque Koshu Valley near Mt Fuji where the majority of Japan's wine is produced. There, at two award-winning wineries and a large wine cellar, you'll enjoy tasting delicious wines made from not only Western grapes but also the indigenous Koshu variety for which Japanese winemaking is best known.

Each winery visit includes a tasting flight of three or four wines. We make the tastings accessible by providing English visual aids with information about the wines. Following the winery visits, you'll stop at a cellar that boasts a selection of 180 wines available for tasting.
The wineries we'll visit offer opportunities to learn about Japanese wines in enchanting countryside settings. Our guides enhance your experience by sharing their knowledge of Japanese winemaking and its history.
You'll also stop at vista points where you'll take in magnificent views of Mt Fuji, the vineyards and the Koshu Valley. Experience spectacular seasonal attractions like cherry trees that bloom in spring and maples whose leaves turn red and yellow in autumn.
